Frequently Asked Questions

We try to anticipate questions you might have about our services, rates or general operating guidelines and provide the answers here. If you need additional information send a direct email to our address at: info
and we will be glad to answeer any concerns that you may have.

How Long In Advance Must I Make My Reservation?
While sometimes we are able to accommodate last minute requests, it is certainly not the norm. We handle over 500 clients who travel with us all of the time and who usually schedule their dates between 1-8 weeks in advance. The rule of thumb that we try to use is that the more advance notice you can provide us, the better able we will be to handle your request properly.

What If I Am Unable To Locate My Chauffeur When I Arrive At The Airport?
DO NOT LEAVE THE AIRPORT TO CATCH A TAXI!  Contact our office at: (410) 997-3377 IMMEDIATELY so that we can direct our driver to your location.

What Is Your Cancellation Policy?
We require at least a 24 hour notice of intent to cancel a reservation without being charged for the request. This policy has to be adhered to due to the volume of requests that we handle and the pre-scheduling that has to be done for each and vehicle for the following day to insure that mistakes are limited to a minimum. Flight changes will try to be honored, but in the case of a scheduling conflict due to a change made by a client earlier than 24 hours, there is a chance that we may not be able to honor the change and will still have to charge the full rate to the client.

Do You Provide Day Charter Services To Different Cities?
Absolutely, and in fact many clients have discovered that it is much easier and economical for them to take one of our vehicles and be driven to meetings in New York City, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Washington DC and Atlantic City, instead of driving themselves or catching Amtrak and taxis in each of these areas. We provide very reasonable flat rate day charters to these cities and will be happy to discuss your needs for any out of area travel that you may require.

What Are Your Minimum Hours On Charter Requests?
That depends upon the type of event, type of vehicle, day of the week and whether it is a local or out of town travel request. Usually local mid week requests are between 3-4 hour minimums where Friday & Saturday night limousine charter requests can be 6-8 hour minimum bookings due to the amount of requests that we receive.

What Is The Difference Between Point-To-Point Charge vs. Garage-To-Garage Charge, And What Is Your Company Policy On Charges Such As This?
Point-To-Point Charges (which is what
CSIINTERNATIONAL has always maintained) is a flat rate charge for the service provided, and is normally applicable to airport transfers. This means that you are charged a flat rate for an airport transfer instead of an hourly type rate system. To simplify it, sometimes on airport transfers, everything goes as planned. The client has carry on baggage, the arrival times are correct and you are out of the airport in what should be considered a normal time. Other times, there are arrival delays due to weather or equipment problems, luggage is lost and the client has to wait at the airport in line to file a lost bag claim or you are caught in rush hour traffic and are delayed on the freeways, which increases the drivers time spent on that particular client in his/her transfer request. Under the Point-To-Point rate schedule you are GUARANTEED the quoted rate, regardless of the amount of time incurred by our staff in completing your request.

Garage-To-Garage billing (which is what most major providers such as  Carey,  Dav El,  Boston Coach  & Kangaroo Coach  maintains)  is a rate charged for the actual amount of time spend by the driver in completing your transfer request instead of the rate having a ceiling to the amount charged. This is why most of the time the rates you see charged are never consistent and fluctuate. The rates are usually also charged from the time the driver leaves his/her location to pick you up until, the time that he has returned instead of the actual time that he/she has dropped you at your final destination. This means you are NEVER guaranteed fixed service prices and may be paying for driver delay times in returning to his office location even through you are not even in the vehicle.

What Licensing, Bonding & Insurance Does Your Company Maintain?
CSIINTERNATIONAL is licensed and insured beyond Maryland law requirements. Although you might expect a limousine service that is in the Yellow Pages or on the internet to be licensed and insured, it is often not the case. Most clients do not realize that they can be personally liable (and have been sued by accident victims in the past) because they were passengers who hired an uninsured limousine service. Our insurance in on file with the Public Service Commission for $1.5M, well in excess of the $50,000 Maryland state requirements.

Why should my company choose CSIINTERNATIONAL over any of the other competitors that are comparable in price and service?
There are only a handful of competitors that we feel are comparable in price, service and quality of service that we provide at CSIINTERNATIONAL, and we are happy to provide you with those competitors listed below. Why are we willing to do this you ask? Simple…because we feel that for the money, we do provide the best overall service. Some of our reputable competitors might be a little bit higher or lower in price than that of what we charge, but we also advise not to choose just on pricing alone. But use someone you feel comfortable with that will handle your staff and guests in the way you want them handled. So for that reason we are not afraid to give you the competitors that we feel comfortable with that will provide excellent service. If we can match their rates let us know.
